Our sister program, the Alexander Graham Bell Montessori School, is THE visual-oral alternative for:
Children who DO NOT YET SHARE in the auditory benefit of technology
- In the past ten years, we’ve witnessed a technological explosion of more powerful hearing aids and cochlear implants. As a result of newborn hearing screening, many infants diagnosed with a hearing loss now receive hearing aids in the first few months of their lives. Some deaf children receive cochlear implants before their first birthday!
- Prior to the boom in technology, auditory-oral schools also worked with profoundly deaf children who could not benefit from hearing aids. These children were taught English using what is known as the oral method. The change in name from oral to auditory-oral acknowledges that acceptance criteria are very different today.
- Children who DO NOT YET MATCH the language skills of their peers
- Children whose families have evaluated the available options, and have chosen us because we SERVE THE NEEDS of their child and family
We expect our children to soar to their full academic potential. And they do!

MISSION
Alexander Graham Bell Montessori School ( AGBMS ) is a classic Montessori School that follows both the method and the philosophy of Dr. Maria Montessori, (an Italian physician and educator who began the Montessori movement in Rome in 1906).
